Service Pricing

To help you understand all of the costs associated with a funeral service and make an informed decision, we’ve broken them down in our general price list. We also have a variety of payment options to ease the financial burden of honoring your loved one so that you can give them the service they deserve. If you need any assistance or have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our staff is happy to help you explore all the options available to you.

These prices are effective as of February 22, 2024 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.



Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff

$2,195.00

Includes staff necessary to respond to initial service request, arrangement conference with responsible party, coordinating service plans with other parties involved with the services, and obtaining certificates, permits, authorizations, insurance papers, veteran's benefits, and Social Security benefits.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Embalming

$800.00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Direct Cremation

$2,195.00

Package Includes: Basic professional services of funeral director and staff, transfer of the deceased from the place of death to funeral home (within 25 mile radius), sanitary care of remains, use of facilities and equipment for identification only, transportation of deceased to crematory, cremation fee at crematory, medical examiner's fee (Alpena County), minimum corrugated container (family may select different container for additional fee), and certified copies of death certificate.

Immediate Burial

$2,195.00

Includes: Basic professional services of funeral director and staff, sanitary care of the remains, transfer of the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home (within a 25 mile radius), transportation of the deceased to the cemetery for burial.

  • Total immediate burial with casket selected from price list: $2650.00 to $9150.00

Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home

$2,195.00

Our services include transfer of remains to funeral home and basic services of the funeral director and staff.

Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home

$1,600.00

Includes basic services of funeral director and staff. Other services will be needed.
