Born: July 14, 1931
Died: March 24, 2012

Bonnie M. Jackson, 80, of Hubbard Lake died Saturday March 24, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Bonnie was born July 14, 1931 in Highland Park, MI to Albert and Gladys (Higgins) Kennaugh. She married Richard W. Jackson on June 20, 1953 at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Detroit. He preceded her in death in September of 2001. Bonnie was a faithful and dedicated member of Hope Lutheran Church and the choir. In addition, she was very active in the Hubbard Lake area with various organizations. Over the years, she organized our local National Day of Prayer. She loved to play bridge, attend Bible Studies and book clubs. For years she was a leader in Community Bible Study. Her music was very special to her, and she was a big Spartan Football fan. But most of all, she was a lover of Jesus and led her life in such a way that she blessed those around her. She will be missed by all those lives she touched.
Surviving are two children; Mark Jackson and Cathy Friedman, along with their spouses, Margie and Skip, six grandchildren; Jennifer, Jeremy and his wife Grace, Megan, Christopher, Abigail and Cole, as well as two great-grandsons; Benjamin and Caleb, and two brothers; Albert and Karl Kennaugh along with their spouses Ruth and Beth. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael and a brother, Gordon.
Bonnie Jackson is at McWilliams Funeral Home – Alpena where friends may call on Monday from 2:00-8:00 pm and on Tuesday March 27, 2012 at Hope Lutheran Church from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon with Rev.
